Group takes e-fraud campaign to South-East markets

Okoro Louis Vincent May 15, 2019 e-Fraud Awareness

Worried by the spate of electronic scams and related frauds in Nigeria — especially the number of traders and business people falling for con artists — Global Society for Anti-Corruption (GSAC) took its e-fraud awareness campaign directly to markets across the South-East.

The market outreach mirrors the seminars GSAC has run in Enugu (see our Events page) — meeting traders where they work to explain how scams like SMS fraud, phishing and fake investment schemes operate, and how to avoid them.
